Recipies

Manhattan

  • 1 ½ oz Blended Whiskey
  • ¾ oz Sweet Vermouth

Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Depth Charge

  • 1 ½ oz Whiskey
  • 12 oz Beer

Serve the whiskey in a shot glass; server the beer alongside. Drop the shot into the beer and drink. This is also called a Boilermaker.

Harvey Wallbanger

  • ½ oz Vodka
  • ½ oz Galliano
  • 4 oz Orange Juice

Fill a Collins glass with ice, add the vodka and orange juice, and top with Galliano. Garnish with orange.

Tequila Sunrise

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 4 oz Orange Juice
  • ¾ oz Grenadine

Fill a highball glass with ice, add the tequila and orange juice, and stir. Top with grenadine so that it sinks slowly through th emixture. Garnish with orange and a cherry.

Kamikazi

  • 1 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz Lime Juice

Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass; or serve with ice an in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with lime.

Cosmopolitian

  • 1 ¼ oz Vodka
  • ¼ oz Triple Sec
  • ¼ oz Cranberry Juice
  • ¼ oz Lime Juice

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with lime.

Presbyterian

  • 1 ½ oz Whiskey
  • Club Soda
  • Ginger Ale

Fill a highball glass with ice and add the whiskey. Fill the remainder of the glass with equal parts club soda and ginger ale. This drink if often called a Pres.

Rusty Nail

  • ¾ oz Scotch Whiskey
  • ¼ oz Drambuie

Fill and old-fashioned glass with ice, add scotch, and float Drambuie on top.

Rob Roy

  • 1 ½ oz Scotch Whiskey
  • ¾ oz sweet vermouth
  • Dash of Bitters

Pour ingredients over ice into a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass; or server with ice in anold-fashioned glass.

Between the Sheets

  • ½ oz Light Rum
  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • ½ oz Brandy
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon.

Boomrang

  • 1 oz. Dry Vermouth
  • 1 ½ oz Gin
  • Dash of bitters
  • Dash of Maraschino Cherry Juice

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon.

B and B

  • ½ oz Benedictine
  • ½ oz Brandy

Pour Benedictine into a cordial glass and carefully float the brandy on top.

Boxcar

  • 1 oz Gin
  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • ½ oz Lime Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • Dash of Grenadine

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a wine or champagne glass whose rim has been dipped in sugar. Garnish with lime.

Whiskey Sour

  • 2 oz Blended Whiskey
  • 1 – 1 ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Powdered Sugar

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with lemon and a cherry.

Dry Martini

  • 1 2/3 oz Gin (or Vodka)
  • 1/3 oz Dry Vermouth

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an olive.

Bellini

  • 2 oz Peach Nectar
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • Sparkling Wine or Champagne
  • Dash of Grenadine

Pour the peach nectar and lemon juice into a tall fluted glass, fill with champagne, and stir. Add a dash or grenadine for color.

Pink Lady

  • 1 ½ oz Gin
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 teaspoon Grenadine
  • 1 teaspoon Light Cream
  • Dash of Lemon Juice

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Daiquiri

  • 1 ½ oz Light Rum
  • 1 ½ - 2 oz Lemon or Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Combine ingredients with ice in a blender or cocktail shaker. Pour into a lowball glass, or strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lime.

Golden Cadillac

  • 1 oz Galliano
  • 2 ox White Crème De Cacao
  • 1 oz Half and Half or crème

Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or champagne flute.

Kir Royale

  • 6 oz Champagne
  • ½ oz Crème De Cassis

Pour champagne into a wine glass or champagne flute, add crème de cassis, and stir gently. Garnish with lemon or fresh berries. For a Kir, user a chablis wine instead of champagne.

Singapore Sling

  • 2 oz Gin
  • ½ oz Cherry Brandy
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar
  • Club Soda

Shake the gin, lemon juice, and sugar in a cocktail shaker, strain into a highball glass over ice. Fill with club soda and float the brandy on top. Garnish with fruit.

Zombie

  • 2 ½ oz Light Rum
  • 1 oz Jamaican Rum
  • ½ oz Brandy
  • ½ oz 151 Rum
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 2 oz Orange Juice

Blend ingredients, except 151 rum, with ½ cup crushed ice on low speed. Pour into a highball glass. Float the 151 rum on top, and garnish with mint, pineapple, and a cherry.

Seven and Seven

  • 1 ½ oz Blended Whiskey
  • Seven Up

Fill an old-fashioned or highball glass with ice and add the blended whiskey. Fill with Seven Up and stir.

Pousse Café

  • ¾ oz Grenadine
  • ¾ oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • ¾ oz Crème De cassis
  • ¾ oz White Crème De Menthe
  • ¾ oz Green Chartreuse
  • ¾ oz Brandy

Pour ingredients carefully, floating them over the back of a spoon in order listed. Each layer should remain separate, sitting on top of previously poured liqueur.

Napoleon

  • 2 oz Gin
  • ½ teaspoon White Curacao
  • 1/ teaspoon Dubonnet

Combine ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Sea Breeze

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 4 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz Grapefruit Juice

Fill highball glass with ice, add ingredients, and stir. Garnish with lime.

Mai Tai

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 tablespoon Almond Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Grenadine
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled glass containing crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple and a cherry.

Cape Codder

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 5 oz Cranberry Juice

Fill a highball glass with ice, add ingredients, and stir. Garnish with lime.

Screwdriver

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 5 oz Orange Juice

Fill a highball glass with ice, add ingredients, and stir. Garnish with orange.

Mimosa

  • 3 oz Champagne
  • 3 oz Orange Juice

Pour orange juice into a chilled stemmed glass, and fill with champagne. Garnish with orange.

Fuzzy Navel

  • 2 oz Peach Schnapps
  • 5 oz Orange Juice

Fill a highball glass with ice, add the ingredients, and stir. Garnish with orange.

Sloe Gin Fizz

  • 2 oz Sloe Gin
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar
  • Club Soda

Mix ingredients (except club soda) with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a highball glass over ice. Fill with club soda. Garnish with lemon.

White Russian

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • ¾ oz Kahlua or Coffee Liqueur
  • ¾ oz Half and Half or Cream

Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice, then add vodka and Kahlua. Float cream on top.

Stinger

  • 1 ½ oz brandy
  • ½ oz White Crème De Menthe

Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with mint.

Gimlet

  • 1 ½ oz Gin (or Vodka)
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lime.

Margarita

  • 1 ½ oz Tequila
  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz Lime or Lemon Juice

Rub rim of a cocktail glass with lime or lemon rind and dip rim in salt. Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake, and strain into the glass. Garnish with lime.

Brandy Alexander

  • ½ oz Brandy
  • ½ oz Dark Crème De Cacao
  • ½ oz Half and Half or Cream

Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with ground nutmeg.

Hot Toddy

  • 1 ½ oz Brandy or Whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Hot Water
  • Seasonings: Lemon Wedge, Cinnamon, Cloves
  • Nutmeg

Pour brandy or whiskey into a teacup, fill with hot water, add sugar and seasonings to taste, and stir. Garnish with ground nutmeg.

Mint Julep

  • 2 ½ oz Bourbon
  • 3-4 Mint Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Water

Muddle the mint leaves with water and sugar in a julep or tall glass, fill with shaved or crushed ice, and add bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with mint.

Grasshopper

  • ¾ oz Green Crème De Menthe
  • ¾ oz White Crème De Cacao
  • ¾ oz Half and Half or Cream

Mix ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and strain into a chilled glass or champagne flute.

Shady Lady

  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Melon Liqueur
  • 4 oz Grapefruit Juice

Pour ingredients over ice in a highball glass and stir. Garnish with lime and a cherry.

Pimm’s Cup

  • 1 ½ oz Pimm’s No. 1 Cup
  • 1 oz Gin
  • Club Soda

Fill and old-fashioned glass with ice, pour in Pimm’s and gin, then add club soda. Garnish with a cucumber spear and lemon.

Long Island Iced Tea

  • ½ oz Gin
  • ½ oz Vodka
  • ½ oz Rum
  • ½ oz Tequila
  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • 1 ½ oz Sweetened Lemon Juice
  • Cola

Pour ingredients (except cola) into a highball glass with ice. Stir and add cola until drink is the color of iced tea.

Bloody Mary

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 3 oz Tomato Juice
  • Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Tabasco, Worcestershire, Lemon Juice, Horseradish

Season tomato juice to taste. Fill a highball glass with ice, pour mixture over ice, add vodka, and stir. Garnish with lime and celery.

Cuba Libre

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • Juice of ½ Lime
  • Cola

Fill a highball glass with ice, then add rum and lime juice. Fill with coal and stir. Garnish with lime.

Tom Collins

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 – 1 ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar
  • Club Soda

Combine ingredients (except club soda) with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a Collins glass over ice, fill with club soda. Garnish with fruit.

Gin and Tonic

  • 2 oz Gin
  • Tonic Water

Fill highball glass with ice, add gin, fill with tonic, and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Irish Coffee

  • 1 ½ - 2 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • Coffee
  • Whipped Cream

Pour the whiskey and brown sugar into an Irish coffee mug, add black coffee, and top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

Pina Colada

  • 3 oz Light Rum
  • 3 tablespoon Coconut Milk
  • 3 tablespoon Crushed Pineapple

Combine ingredients with 2 cups of crushed ice in a blender, blend on high, and pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple and a cherry.

Shirley Temple

  • Seven-up
  • ¾ oz Grenadine

Fill a highball glass with ice, then add Seven-up and grenadine. Garnish with cherries.

Roy Rogers

  • Cola
  • ¾ oz Grenadine

Fill a highball glass with ice, then add cola and grenadine. Garnish with cherries.
